"This work explores REBIRTH as a cyclical return to land rather than transformation through forgetfulness—from land-based continuance, the body is treated as a vessel of memory and shaped by spirit and Earthly connection. Metanoia, a grounded shift in self, serves as an innate repentance of soil and calls to illuminate the body as spectacle, amongst natural elements and not outside of them. To see the progression of self within the grass and shore rather than outside of it, is to die and be born again." - Cate Banks
